Árný and Sigurdís

Árný moved from Iceland to Germany in January 2022 carrying the filly to be born in July. Sigurdís is the first German born foal with our breeding name Nylenda.

In Landsmót 2022, Penni and Atlas, fathers of Árný and Sigurdís both made it into the A elite-finals, (A flokkur gæðinga). In the very same hour Árný gave birth to a healthy bay dun coloured mare. We found the name Sigurdís, a Icelandic version of Victoria, appropriate to honour the achievements of her father and grandfather on the hour she was born.
